Dear BTC.com Users,
Grin will perform an algorithm upgrade hard fork at a block height of 786,240, expected to be around 3:00 on July 16th, 2020 UTC Time. In order to avoid mining losses, BTC.com pool will carry out solutions as follows:
1. Server: BTC.com pool is expected to synchronously update Grin mining server on July 16th, 2020 UTC Time, and we’ll continue to provide mining service normally.
2. Mining software and tools: The algorithm of GRIN 29 will be updated to the newest one during mentioined hard fork issue. At that time, the old version of mining software will no longer support Grin mining, and miners need to update it to the latest version.
3. Wallet and exchange：
- Miners who use full node wallets need to upgrade the wallet version to 4.0.0 and above.
- Miners employing exchanges or third-party wallets platform need to pay attention to the platform announcement and make responses in time.
